People that pronounce "Tennessee" as though it ended with an "ay"

When we lived in Ga., it used to irk me when people would say "Chattnooga" (leaving out a syllable). That's one sure way to know that they're not originally from the area! But really, if you're a newscaster in the area, you really should learn how to say the city's name correctly!
